Electrical engineering is an exciting field that offers the opportunity to enter some of the most rewarding and challenging careers available. Computer engineering represents perhaps the most sought-after professional component of an engineering team that develops the technological possibilities inherent in the design, construction, and operation of computer systems. The computer engineer performs a variety of tasks involving hardware, software, peripherals, computer-controlled systems, and hardware-software integration, as well as computer applications in a multitude of areas.
